State Officers 2009-2010
Stormy Alexander

My name is Stormy Alexander and I am proud to have been born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. I am an upcoming senior at Shaw High School where I’m involved in many clubs, organizations, and activities to include drama, broadcasting, media production, and SkillsUSA. I have been a member of SkillsUSA for three years, during which time I developed a passion that has motivated me to serve. I believe that giving back what SkillsUSA has given to me is important. While serving my term in office, I hope to increase membership and to provide inspiration and motivation to other students.

Katherine Booth

Hi, I am Katherine Booth and an upcoming senior at Harris County High School, where I will be serving as our local chapter President for the 2009-2010 school year. My desire to become more involved with SkillsUSA started when I attended the Fall Leadership Conference in 2008. After Fall Leadership I began working on the community service project that our chapter was involved in and decided that I also wanted to compete at the Championships. I am a member of the Chapter Business Procedure Team which won first place at the State Leadership and Skills Conference, and I am looking forward to representing Georgia at the National Leadership and Skills Conference. While practicing for the competition I developed a desire to strengthen my leadership qualities, so I decided to run for the state officer team. My goal as a state officer is to share with others the opportunities that they can experience by becoming an active member in SkillsUSA. I look forward to meeting you and making this a great year in SkillsUSA.

Zac Bryant

My name is Zac Bryant, and I am just a regular guy that likes to hang out with friends. I play a lot of sports, such as lacrosse and cross-country. I ran for State Office because I though it would be a good way to make friends that I will never forget, and that I could do a lot for Skills USA. I think that one of the many ways I could help Skills USA by increasing the membership size, there are many schools in my area that don’t offer Skills USA as a club, and I would like to fix that.

McCall Butler

My name is McCall Butler and I am an upcoming junior at Troup High School, located in LaGrange, Ga. I have been a member of SkillsUSA for two years and I have fallen in love with this organization. SkillsUSA has brought me many great things in life and one of them was the chance to be your North Region Vice President. Now, you know I couldn’t let that opportunity pass up! I love making friends and getting people close together and that’s what I plan to do for SkillsUSA. I am going to bring SkillsUSA the excitement and energy that it deserves. My biggest goal for Skills is for it to become the world’s best organization so I am going to try my best to increase our membership more than anyone ever has. I’m looking forward to spending this year with everyone in SkillsUSA, and becoming a Champion at Work.

Fadhumo Eve Ragge

My name is Fadhumo Eve Ragge, more commonly known as Eve. I’m a junior at DeKalb High School of Technology- North located in Dunwoody, Georgia. I’m currently enrolled in Visual Arts and Communications and aspire to become an architect. I ran for state office because, I thought that I could benefit myself, as well as the entire SkillsUSA organization. Every year able leaders are elected, and since they must eventually be replaced, what better replacement than another leader willing, and able to lead. This year as a serve out my term, I plan to increase Georgia’s membership.

Jeffrey Yarbrough

During my term serving for the state office, I plan to listen to everyone’s thoughts about how they would like to further improve SkillsUSA and make the best decision that is needed. I decided to run for state office because I feel that I possess a lot of leadership qualities needed to bring SkillsUSA to the next level. Through my parents, I have been taught leadership skills while learning how to set a good example and be a good big brother for my younger brother and sister. This past high school swim season I was MVP of the Lee County Swim Team and I am positive it is time for me to step it up a few levels and be a successful leader in SkillsUSA.

Kimberly McNeil

I am very passionate about SkillsUSA. One of my major goals for being a state officer is to increase membership.

Tiera Farley

Thank you SkillsUSA members for giving me this opportunity to be a 2009-2010 State Officer! My name is Hannah Smith, and I am currently a junior at Sonoraville High School in Calhoun, Ga. I have been a member of SkillsUSA, HOSA, and the SHS varsity basketball team for three years.  I have always shown leadership in every activity I pursue. With your support, I’ll do my very best to help take SkillsUSA to even greater heights.
