Trakena Moore, State Parliamentarian – Sate Officer Journal Entry – June 10, 2007
The CTSO training camp made me realize just how real being a State Officers! It really put me in the mind set that I was a real leader. Through the training and the workshops, I became a better speaker and it made me confident with speaking. I did not know that I would be taught to speak like a professional. During the time there I became really close to the other officers, through the ropes course and the Olympics and I really got to know Mrs. Silvey as well. I think we really have begun to make a lifetime friendship. That was my most favorite and most memorable part of the training session. I can truly say that it made me grow as a leader, through meeting the new people and teaching me what a big difference I can make with my leadership. The CTSO training has prepared me for leading the way for all 7, 045 SkillsUSA Georgia members!
