Please note that Quiz Bowl is a 50 minute exam and no calculators are allowed for this competition. Teams must take the exam at the same time.
General Information
All tests will be available between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from January 23rd to January 27th.
A proctor (non SkillsUSA/ACCT, Public Safety or Cosmetology) must be available to access the online system. Timing of the test session will begin when the test/questions are presented, not when the first question is answered. Responses will be automatically submitted when the time expires. The time limit will be 90 minutes for each test. The entire test is accessible throughout the test session. Please review the use of scroll bars with competitors prior to testing and remind them not to close the testing window. Closing the test window terminates the test without scoring and disqualifies the competitor in this event.

Proctor Instructions
Steps to Prepare for Region Testing

Secure a Proctor and complete the Proctor Form

Region Proctor Form Upload

Secure a testing site.

Secure a time period for your students to test.

The proctor will be sent testing instructions, including the link to the testing site and instructions on how to successfully walk students through the testing process.

Make sure that your school computers can access the testing site: ProProfs

Secure a non SkillsUSA/ACCT, Public Safety or Cosmetology related testing proctor. Suggestions include librarians, counselors, administrators, IT staff, etc.

Confirm the testing times with each of your students and ensure they know where they will be testing.

Testing Reminders

Students will have 90 minutes to complete the test, but they are not required to use the full amount of time.

All team members must test at the same time.

Students should know the exact contest they are competing in BEFORE entering the testing site.

Once the test starts competitors cannot log out or click out of the test. If they do, the test will stop, and they will not be allowed to retest.

Students are allowed to use calculators. Students should bring paper and a pencil with them to the testing site. No cell phones or graphic calculators may be used. No internet surfing outside of the testing site is allowed. No textbooks are allowed inside the testing site.

The SkillsUSA advisor is not allowed in the testing location. The SkillsUSA advisor is not allowed to talk to students once they are in the testing location.

Students are only allowed to take their test once. Scores will not appear. Responses will be automatically submitted when the time expires. The time limit will be 90 minutes for each test.

If a student is kicked out of the test without finishing due to a glitch, please do not hesitate to reach out to SkillsUSA Georgia. There will not be a penalty if this happens and we are able to reset the test.This needs to be done immediately. Do not wait to contact us to inform us of an issue.
After the Test
Although the test will be scored upon submission, the score will not be available to the competitor or advisor. Individual scores will not be released.
SkillsUSA Georgia will not release scores for these contests.
