Our Membership

How to Join

Students wishing to become a member of SkillsUSA should contact the advisor who has a chapter in your school. Of course you would have to agree to abide by the rules and regulations set up by the local chapter.
Advisors wishing to form a chapter or who already have an active chapter must submit their membership online at http://www.skillsusa-register.org/Login.aspx and pay dues to the national office. 

 

Membership Dues:

Student Dues: $15.00 ($8.00 national + $7.00 state)
Advisor Dues: $27.00 ($20.00 national + $7.00 state)

Date to Submit Membership: 

According to the SkillsUSA Georgia High School extended day POW, the instructor shall organize and maintain a local chapter of SkillsUSA Georgia by serving as the advisor and shall pay dues with the state and national organization by October 1 each year. Verification of dues will be sent to your local CTAE Director and posted on the Georgia CTSO website. 

Chapters are welcome to add members after October 1.

Required Membership Prior to Registration:  

The following SkillsUSA Georgia conferences/events require professional and student membership submission prior to registration for the conference. 

  • Fall Leadership Conference: A Career Development Experience

  • Region Championships

  • CTSO Day at the Capitol 

  • State Leadership & Skills Conference

 

Required Paid Membership Prior to Attending: 

The following SkillsUSA Georgia and SkillsUSA conferences/events require paid membership prior to attending: 

  • National Leadership & Skills Conference 

 

Membership Payment Deadline: 

All membership fees must be paid by March 17, 2023. This is the same deadline to submit payment for SLSC. No membership is allowed to be submitted after the March 1, 2023 deadline.
