Social Media Ambassador Program

The SkillsUSA Georgia Social Media Ambassador program will focus on the Essential Elements of Communication and Computer and Technology Literacy. Social Media Ambassadors will send clear messages to the association’s social media audience by writing captions to posts for appropriate channels. They will also use technology effectively by improving the flow of conference information and be willing to learn new social media platforms to perform job functions completely. Selected Social Media Ambassadors will receive:

• Special Access Pass, granting them access to all SLSC 2022 events

• 2 SkillsUSA Georgia Social Media Ambassador T-shirts

• Reserved, Front Row Seating at all General & Awards Sessions

• Recognition in the official SLSC 2022 Program

• The ability to interact with and learn from SkillsUSA Georgia Staff

• An interactive, resume building experience

Requirements & Desired Skill-Set

• Must be registered for the 2022 State Leadership & Skills Conference

• Must NOT be registered as a State Officer Candidate

• Proficient in Instagram, Facebook & Twitter

• Knowledgeable in generating engaging captions for SkillsUSA Georgia's Audience

• Understand how to engage a social media audience

• Familiarity with live streaming

• Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook Stories & their features

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Due to limited Wi-Fi services offered at the Georgia World Congress Center, all potential Social Media Ambassadors must be able to provide/use their own cellular data/hotspot

The SkillsUSA Georgia State Office will announce ambassadors on January 28.
