Jennie Corse serves as the Assistant State Director for SkillsUSA Georgia, where she supports chapter advisors, coordinates statewide conferences and programs, strengthens partnerships with education and industry, and works alongside the state office team to provide meaningful opportunities for students across Georgia.

With more than a decade of experience in Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE), Jennie has dedicated her career to empowering students and supporting educators. She believes education is about more than teaching technical skills. It is about helping students develop the confidence, character, and leadership they will carry with them long after they leave the classroom.

Before joining SkillsUSA Georgia, Jennie served as the Architecture and Drafting Instructor at Camden County High School, where she was also the lead SkillsUSA advisor. She coached students to success at the regional, state, and national levels while building a chapter culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and leadership. She also mentored new advisors, partnered with local industry leaders, and created meaningful opportunities for students to grow both personally and professionally.

Jennie's commitment to excellence earned national recognition when her chapter was named the top SkillsUSA Model of Excellence chapter in the nation in the Technical Skills category. She was also recognized as Camden County High School Teacher of the Year and Camden County School District Teacher of the Year for her dedication to student success.

Beyond the classroom, Jennie served as a SkillsUSA Georgia Region 7 Co-Chair, collaborating with fellow advisors to strengthen local chapters, share best practices, and expand opportunities for students throughout the region. Supporting educators and helping them create transformative experiences for students has remained one of the most rewarding aspects of her career.

As Assistant State Director, Jennie is passionate about equipping advisors with the resources they need to succeed, strengthening partnerships between education and industry, and creating opportunities that prepare students not only for successful careers but for meaningful lives. She believes SkillsUSA changes lives by challenging students to lead, serve, and grow into the professionals and individuals they are capable of becoming.

My favorite part of the job is watching students grow into confident leaders through service, competition, and all of the meaningful opportunities SkillsUSA provides.

Favorite SkillsUSA Event
One of my favorite SkillsUSA events is pin trading at the National Leadership & Skills Conference because it encourages students to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and connect with students and industry professionals from across the country.
