SkillsUSA Georgia has partnered with AGC Georgia for another year of competition and showcasing the construction trades! Students who attend these challenges are exposed to various construction careers and have the opportunity to network with local and future employers. Last year, over 2,100 students attended from 104 schools.

State Qualifier Information

SkillsUSA members can compete in certain competitions at AGC Skills Challenges in order to secure a bid to represent their chapters at SkillsUSA Georgia's State Leadership and Skills Conference. Those competitions are listed below.

 

After speaking with construction advisors and students across the state, taking into account your feedback and our resources, and working in tandem with our partner, AGC Georgia, and their region leaders, we look forward to continuing to offer Cabinetmaking, TeamWorks, and Welding Fabrication competitions in a hybrid format.

Register Your Students as SkillsUSA Members

In order for your students to be eligible to advance to SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference, they must be registered SkillsUSA members.

Complete AGC Skills Challenge Registration

This registration is required to secure participation in an AGC Skills Challenge. AGC Georgia supplies their region leaders with the information on this form to prepare for competitions and gather supplies.

Complete SkillsUSA State Qualifier Registration

This registration is required for all participants intending to qualify for SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference in their home AGC Skills Region. Failure to register competitors by the Oct. 3 state qualifier registration deadline results in ineligibility to qualify.

If you are interested in competing in an AGC Skills Challenge outside of your home region, please follow these directions. Note that you are only able to qualify for SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference in your home region.
