Middle School Chapter Development Grant
SkillsUSA Georgia is committed to growing and strengthening middle school SkillsUSA programs across the state. Through our Middle School Chapter Development Grants program, we are investing in both new and existing SkillsUSA chapters by providing funding, resources, and support to help advisors create meaningful leadership and workforce development experiences for students.
For the 2026-2027 school year, SkillsUSA Georgia will award:

Up to 5 New Middle School Chapter Development Grants valued at $2,500 each

Up to 10 Established Middle School Chapter Development Grants valued at $750 each

For New Middle School Chapters
Grant Value: $2,500
Ready to bring SkillsUSA to your middle school? The New Middle School Chapter Development Grant provides the resources needed to establish a successful chapter and begin engaging students in leadership development, career exploration, and workforce readiness.
What's Included?
The $2,500 grant is used to purchase the following items for your new chapter:

10 SkillsUSA Official Jackets

10 SkillsUSA Official Polo Shirts

2 SkillsUSA Official Binders

10 Fall Leadership Conference Registrations

About $100 worth of Educational Resources

The remaining amount (~$400) will be issued to the advisor as a stipend

This grant is open to CTAE middle school teachers across Georgia who are eager to start a new SkillsUSA Chapter at their public school. Whether you're a seasoned educator or new to SkillsUSA, we welcome your application and look forward to supporting your vision for student success.

For Established Middle School Chapters
Grant Value: $750
The Established Middle School Chapter Development Grant recognizes and supports existing SkillsUSA middle school chapters that are continuing to expand student leadership opportunities and chapter engagement.
What's Included?
The $750 grant will be issued as a one-time payment to the chapter to support continued growth and engagement. Funds may be used toward:

Conference participation, including student registration and related conference expenses

Chapter management, including materials and resources that support chapter activities

Student leadership development and opportunities that enhance the SkillsUSA experience
The goal of this grant is to provide established middle school chapters with flexible funding to grow participation, strengthen chapter activities, and expand leadership opportunities for students.
Who Can Apply?
This grant is open to CTAE middle school teachers across Georgia who have an active SkillsUSA Chapter at their public school.
