The SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC) is coming up in February! Some competitions require a state qualifier because we have limited spots available at the conference. There are a few different ways to qualify for SLSC. This page is dedicated to state-qualifying exams and the wild card test students can take to earn a coveted spot at SLSC!

Jan. 14 | Technical Exam Winners Announced by 8 p.m.

Students must be registered SkillsUSA members

Students must be enrolled in an eligible course/pathway

Schools may have only one (1) student per school take the exam per competition

Wild Card Exam
What is the Wild Card Exam?
The Wild Card Exam is a general SkillsUSA knowledge test, similar to the Professional Development Test (Study Guide). The test scores will be used to fill slots that did not fill at Region Championships due to a lack of participation in other regions. In other words, this test could be your ticket to State Leadership and Skills Conference!

Students must have competed at Region Championships in the competition they wish to qualify in

Region 7 - Students may take the Wild Card exam in advance of the Region 7 Championships

All team members in team competitions must take the exam, and the team's scores will be averaged
