At FLC, you'll get to dive into workshops and activities to understand the SkillsUSA Essential Elements, developing your framework skills to help you actualize the SkillsUSA mission. Chapter Recruitment Challenges

Looking to increase engagement and membership at your school's SkillsUSA chapter? With FLC, there are several challenges your chapter can participate in to help push recruitment at your school.

​Each school can join as many of these challenges as desired. So get your chapter together, and get creative with how champion recruitment with these challenges!

Chapter Spirit Challenge

Get ready to represent your school! Whether it's matching outfits, fun accessories, or a theme that represents your school or chapter, show up and show out with all your school spirit! Get creative and make your chapter's appearance memorable at Fall Leadership Conference. The chapter that showcases the most spirit on-site at FLC will win the challenge and be announced during Closing Session!

T-Shirt Design

We want YOUR help designing this year's FLC T-Shirts! There's no limit to how many designs a chapter can submit, so spread the word amongst your school's members, and showcase your creativity!

Individuals competing should submit their work themselves before October 17th at 11:59 PM.

 Be sure to thoroughly read over the T-Shirt Design Contest section of the Conference Guide to ensure your design meets all the requirements!

The winning design will be printed on all T-shirts for FLC attendees. We can't wait to see what you create!

Don't worry- FLC has something for you, too! This is your moment to elevate your chapter and strive for chapter excellence by engaging in professional development while connecting with peers to exchange ideas and best practices.

Selecting your FLC date

Fall Leadership Conference is designed for students to be able to connect and grow in a close-knit setting as they engage in smaller workshop groups. With that, the conference is split into three sections, and you can choose one of three dates which works the best for your chapter!

Option A: Monday, October 16
Option B: Tuesday, October 17
Option C: Wednesday, October 18

As you register your chapter, you will be able to specify which date you will be attending!

Statesman Exams

The Statesman Award honors individuals who demonstrate a strong understanding of SkillsUSA and civic awareness, and the ability to articulate their personal experiences in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Mastery of SkillsUSA knowledge is essential for leadership within our organization. Each year, the award is presented during SkillsUSA Georgia’s Fall Leadership Conferences. Recipients who successfully pass the exam will receive a SkillsUSA Georgia Statesman lapel pin during the closing session and will be named a SkillsUSA Georgia Statesman for life.

Feel free to encourage your students to take the Statesman Exam! In order to administer exams for your students, you must complete the Proctor Form by November 7th.

​

Chapter Excellence Program

The Chapter Excellence Program (CEP) is the single best way to build a successful SkillsUSA chapter. The CEP recognizes achievement as it relates to the integration of the SkillsUSA Framework in chapter Program of Work activities.

 

Every chapter is encouraged to participate in the CEP, and there are three award levels to recognize program involvement. â€‹We will be recognizing all CEP Level 1 (Quality Chapter Indicator) recipient chapters on-site at FLC! In order for your chapter to be recognized, submit your CEP Level 1by Nov. 7th.
